Benjamin Wunnerlich

Benjamin Wunnerlich is a Junior Consultant with a broad international academic background. Throughout his studies in the UK, Ireland and Canada he gained valuable skills and experiences in navigating international environments and working across borders and cultures. This background is additionally rounded off by his initial professional experience in EU environmental, transport and energy policy.
Academic Background
He was born and grew up in Karlsruhe, Germany, and went on to attend university in Stirling in Scotland, Victoria in Canada as well as Dublin in Ireland. He received a first class BA (Hons.) in History from the University of Stirling, as well as an MPhil with Distinction in International History from Trinity College Dublin.
Professional Experience
Before joining Time&Place, he completed two internships in Brussels, where he built his knowledge of the EU institutions, public affairs, advocacy and political communications.
At the Representation of the State Baden-Württemberg to the EU he worked with the representatives of the Environment, Transport and Social Ministries and completed tasks such as news monitoring, newsletter writing and reporting on parliamentary discussions.
At the EU Representation of EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG he worked on the evaluation of new legislation and contributed to external and internal position papers relevant to renewable energy and mobility within the scope of the EU’s Fit for 55 package.
Languages
Benjamin speaks German, English, intermediate Italian as well as basic French.
